Introducing SafeRide: school bus tracking parents actually trust

Our school bus tracking solution now has a name: SafeRide. RFID boarding verification, stop-by-stop parent notifications, and child data that never leaves India — built for the way Indian school transport actually works.

Our school bus tracking solution has been live for a while now — RFID boarding, a parent app, route management, all of it. What it didn't have was a name of its own. That changes today: it's SafeRide.

What SafeRide does

  • ▸RFID boarding verification — every student taps their card as they board or alight, logged instantly, no manual roll call
  • ▸Parent app with stop-by-stop notifications — know exactly how many stops away the bus is, get an alert as it approaches your child's stop
  • ▸Parent absence reporting — report an absence before the run starts; the driver sees it flagged before departing
  • ▸Share links with no account needed — a login-free tracking link for a grandparent or household helper, expiring on your schedule
  • ▸Route and academic-session management — drag-and-drop stop ordering, bulk import, copy a route's stops to a new term without re-entering data
  • ▸Works on 2G/3G — position updates buffer on-device and sync when signal returns, built for real Indian connectivity, not just city centres

Why the name, why now

Most school bus tracking in India is GPS-only — a dot on a map and not much else. Ask those vendors where the RFID data goes, or what happens when a student doesn't board. SafeRide was built around the actual chain of trust a school transport system needs: a tap verifies boarding, a notification reaches the parent in seconds, and an admin can see the whole fleet's attendance at a glance — not just where the buses physically are.

Child data — RFID taps, boarding records, any dashcam footage of minors — is processed and stored entirely on Indian servers. Required under the DPDP Act for data involving children, and something most vendors routing through a foreign OEM cloud can't actually promise.

Who it's for

Schools who need a real attendance system, not just a map. Parents who want to know their child boarded safely, not just where a bus is somewhere on a route. And transport operators managing multiple schools or buses who need one dashboard instead of a phone tree.
